The Guam Rugby Football Union was established in 1997 and became a full World Rugby member the following year. This is definitely 90s CCC, so it's a very early jersey!
Rugby in Guam has strong military and expat roots but grew quickly in the 2000s through local clubs and youth programmes. By 2005, the sport was played in high schools and Guam began competing in the Asia Rugby Championship structure.
The men’s team has featured in Division III regional tournaments and earned a reputation for physicality and fast-paced play. Guam also runs women’s and sevens teams, with a strong focus on local development and community engagement.
