The Pacific Islanders competed against test nations between 2004-2008, formed with the best players from Tonga, Fiji and Samoa. They played a Barbarian styled expansive form of footy and only went down by 15 points in their test against the All Blacks. Famous alumni include Sione Lauaki, Saliosi Tagicakibau, Census Johnston and Sitiveni Sivivatu.
They comfortably beat the Reds and Waratahs, and even won a famous victory in the final match of their European tour, beating Italy 17-25 in 2008.
I've never seen one of these, what a piece of memorabilia!
