How it all began

Hey, I'm Duncan - the Founder of Boomfa Vintage, based in Auckland, NZ!

Boomfa started in 2021, selling vintage jerseys from the floor of a shared flat in Central Christchurch. It has now snowballed into the largest stockist of vintage rugby and rugby league apparel in the world. 

Boomfa has over 4000 happy customers, 350 5-star reviews and now stocks new apparel, as an official Super Rugby retailer for Classic Sportswear and NRL retailer for Dynasty Sports.

A bit about me - I grew up on the mighty West Coast of the South Island in a small town called Greymouth. Naturally, I'm a one-eyed Crusaders, All Blacks and Warriors supporter!

I played rugby and league at a young age, before continuing with the 15-man code, a game that took me from NZ, to the UK, US and back again, until I hung up the boots in 2021. My proudest achievement was undoubtedly pulling on the Heartland colours of my home province, West Coast RFU, and my heart will always be at Burnside Rugby Club. Up the Bombers!
