Australia hosted the 2003 Rugby World Cup and came agonisingly close to lifting the Webb Ellis Cup on home soil. George Gregan captained a Wallabies squad featuring Stirling Mortlock, Stephen Larkham and Phil Waugh through to the final, where Jonny Wilkinson's drop goal broke Australian hearts in extra time.
This Canterbury jersey with the official IRB Rugby World Cup 2003 badge and Southern Cross stars is a genuine piece of World Cup history. One of the great tournaments and one of the great Wallabies squads.
