Scotland headed to the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa with Gavin Hastings captaining the side in what would be his final tournament. The Scots reached the quarter-finals before bowing out to New Zealand, with Hastings finishing as one of the tournament's top scorers.
Pringle of Scotland held the SRU manufacturing deal through the mid-90s, producing some of the most sought-after Scotland jerseys of the professional era. Rob Wainwright was emerging as a force in the back row during this period.
