A classic NSWRL-era Parramatta Eels jersey from the James Hardie sponsorship period. The Eels of the late 1980s were still a powerhouse in the competition, with the legacy of the four premierships in five years (1981-1986) still fresh at Cumberland Oval.
Peter Sterling and Brett Kenny had set the standard for Eels halves partnerships, and the long-sleeve Canterbury cotton construction makes this a genuine vintage collector's piece from the golden era of rugby league jerseys.
