Manu Samoa have always been one of rugby's most fearsome and passionate teams. Polynesian Airlines' sponsorship connected the jersey directly to the islands, and during this mid-2000s period Samoa were a genuine threat to any side in world rugby.
I'm not sure on the exact origins of this one, as Adidas and then Puma were the manufacturers for the team, but perhaps the Union stint was short lived. A nice piece, made in NZ!
Players like Brian Lima, Semo Sititi and a young Census Johnston were terrorising opponents with the physicality that has always defined Samoan rugby. NZ-made by Union, this is an authentic piece of Pacific rugby history.
