The Auckland Blues were the original Super 12 powerhouse, winning back-to-back titles in 1996 and 1997 under Graham Henry. Zinzan Brooke, Sean Fitzpatrick, and Jonah Lomu formed the spine of a squad that changed the way rugby was played in the southern hemisphere. This was before they dropped "Auckland" from the name.
A Made in New Zealand Canterbury training jersey from the very first years of Super Rugby. The Ford sponsorship places this firmly in the inaugural era. Heavy wear tells its own story, but these jerseys barely exist in any condition anymore.
