Australia hosted the 2003 Rugby World Cup and came agonisingly close to lifting the Webb Ellis Cup on home soil. Stirling Mortlock, George Gregan and Stephen Larkham led a golden generation that battled through to the final at Stadium Australia before Jonny Wilkinson's drop goal settled it in extra time.
One of the great tournament jerseys from one of the great tournaments. The Wallabies were the reigning World Champions heading into 2003, having won the Cup in Cardiff four years earlier.
You can learn more about it, and every Wallabies jersey ever worn in "The Official History of the Wallabies Jersey" by Michael Fahey.
