Description: Wests Scarborough began life as Western Suburbs in the early 1930s. The club claimed its first premiership in 1932, folded during World War II, and reformed in 1950. It became a dominant force again in the 1970s, winning four straight titles from 1974 to 1977. Club colours today are black and gold, and the group has always had strong ties to junior pathways and local community.
Over the years the club has produced a couple of Wallabies, including Don Hardwick who toured in 1953, and Bob Thompson who toured in 1972. Wests Scarborough has maintained its competitive edge into the 2000s, with multiple Premier Grade flags in the early 2000s and again in 2016 and 2017.
This club represents rugby history in Perth. It carries generations of rugby culture and continues to contribute both players and spirit to the WA scene.
