The Parramatta Eels in the Hardie's era were a powerhouse of the NSWRL competition. The blue and gold were among the most feared sides in the league through the 1980s and early 1990s, with players like Peter Sterling, Brett Kenny, and Mick Cronin delivering some of the most entertaining football the game has seen. This jersey design remains one of the most recognisable in league history.
