The Newport Gwent Dragons were formed in 2003 as one of the four Welsh regional sides. Based at Rodney Parade, they brought together the proud traditions of Newport and Ebbw Vale. The early years saw them competing in the Celtic League with a squad full of gutsy Welsh talent.
