Description: A historic London Wasps jersey, worn by Bay of Plenty export, the late Mark Weedon. He had an illustrious career, playing for BOP, North Harbour, the Crusaders, Wasps and then a final stint at the Chiefs before hanging up the boots in 2002. He captained Wasps & BOP during his career. Mark sadly passed away in 2021 at the age of 53.
I haven't seen many other Wasps jerseys from this era, I love the classic logo on this one. The material is very heavy and this jersey weighs double what other jerseys from the era do. Time for it to head to a Wasps fan or a collector of NZ Rugby History where it belongs.
