Description: This is a cracker from the Golden Lions, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Competing historically in the Currie Cup and later in Super Rugby under the Lions name, the union is one of South Africa’s traditional rugby powerhouses with deep rugby roots.
This is a particularly rare jersey, I've never found another and guess it's 1998 or so given the design similarities to NZ jerseys from the time.
